What one episode took in 2018
Every episode had its own work breakdown sheet. This is one page from Episode 2, built up the way it was made. Pick a step to see the page at that point.
Hours I planned for each page
About 14 hours a page, 9 pages an episode. Add exporting, a proofread from friends and family, and publishing, and one episode came to around 132 hours, planned across two weeks in May 2018.
This was early on, while I was still figuring out my process. I’m a lot quicker now, but back then, this is honestly what a page took.
Meet the cast
Emmi
The heart of the story. Emmi leaves a sheltered life at home to go looking for adventure, and along the way she finds out what magic can really do.
