300 Seconds – Space Suit

This is a space suit I made for a short film I worked on. It is mostly made out of EVA foam besides a few components. The helmet is a motorcycle helmet with foam attached to change the shape. The air canisters in the back and the blue tubing I found at a surplus store, along with a lot of the buttons, switches and stickers. The undersuit is simply a white panthers suit I found at home depot.
Probably one of my favorite parts about the suit is all the lights attached to it. The ones in the helmet are simple string of LED’s and the shoulders are household tap lights. The wrist display was made my having a cutout in the wrist armor, then placing a Iphone inside with a video on it.
